Bilateral Relations
India and Germany Inks MoU on Cooperation in the field of Civil Aviation

The Union Cabinet chaired by the Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) titled Joint Declaration of Intent between India and Germany on Cooperation in the field of Civil Aviation. The Joint Declaration will lead to promotion of safe, effective and efficient development of air transport between India and Germany.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation, India has extended the last date of receiving of ‘Expression of Interest’ (EoI) for Air India disinvestment to 31st May from earlier date of 15th April. On June 15th, it is expected to make public the names of prospective buyers.
