MV-75 Cheyenne to take center stage at Farnborough International Airshow

Farnborough, 14th July 2026:

At this year’s Farnborough International Airshow, one of the United Kingdom’s premier aerospace and defense events, Bell plans to showcase its full-size mockup of the MV-75 Cheyenne to the show’s estimated 100,000 visitors. Alongside the U.S. Army’s newest vertical lift asset, Bell will also have two aircraft from its commercial lineup on display, including the Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi, offering visitors and aviation enthusiasts a premier opportunity to explore their design and capabilities in depth.

 Generation Military Solution

“Having an opportunity to showcase MV-75 Cheyenne allows us to demonstrate its transformational capabilities,” said Jeff Schloesser, senior vice president, Strategic Pursuits. “We will highlight how it meets the evolving needs of modern military operations.”

The MV-75 Cheyenne is a transformational capability for the U.S. Army. With its speed, range, and multi-mission adaptability, the aircraft provides operators with rapid options to mass combat power while reducing exposure in contested environments. Its Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) ensures the platform can evolve with the demands of the modern battlefield.

 Proven Commercial Capability

“Bell’s commercial platforms continue to redefine what customers can expect from modern rotorcraft,” said Robin Wendling, managing director, Europe. “Showcasing the Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi on an international stage highlights their exceptional operator support and proven performance across a broad range of missions.”

In addition to the MV-75, the Bell 505 and Bell 407GXi will be on static display.

The Bell 505 serves as the premier training platform for militaries in Jamaica, Jordan, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates, Montenegro, Albania, Indonesia, Iraq and South Korea, preparing pilots for mission readiness in modern warfare. As the most modern and cost‑effective helicopter training solution for armed forces and civilian pilots alike, the Bell 505 combines advanced IFR technology with proven reliability. With more than 700 aircraft in service, the platform offers a contemporary and scalable solution to meet evolving training needs.

Since its introduction in 2017, the Bell 505 has accumulated more than 300k flight hours and operates in more than 55 countries across six continents. The Bell 505 experience enables cadets to learn the basic principles of flight and their instructors to focus on teaching. Reassuringly predictable in its handling and performance, the platform is not only forgiving, but also responsive and stable.

Additionally, the Bell 407GXi offers advanced avionics, reliability, and speed. The aircraft’s powerful engine performance and smooth handling support rapid response times, while the spacious, configurable cabin provides teams room and access needed for versatile missions.
