Partnerships for Made in India Aircraft is what excites me the most!
In a significant interaction with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, H.E. Shri Karel Havlicek, we discussed the immense opportunity to combine India’s regional air connectivity demand with Czech expertise to build aircraft. Developing 19, 40 and 90-seater aircraft in India to connect UDAN destinations, while also manufacturing for global markets, takes forward Hon’ble PM’s vision of UDAN & Make in India!

The key details of the meeting included:
Aircraft Manufacturing: Both leaders discussed partnering to build regional aircraft in India (specifically 19-, 40-, and 90-seater models) by combining Czech aviation expertise with India’s regional air connectivity and UDAN scheme.
Broader Mission: The meeting is part of a larger four-day Czech business mission to India (running October 12–15, 2026, across Delhi, Bengaluru, and Mumbai) to expand cooperation in transport, aviation, defense, engineering, and energy.
