AAI observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2022

New Delhi,07th November, 2022:

Airports Authority of India observed Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 from 31st October to 06th November 2022, with the theme “Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation” across all its airports and establishments.

The event was chaired by Sanjeev Kumar, Chairman, AAI and attended by Amal Garg, IRS, CVO, AAI and Board Members of AAI i.e. A K Pathak, Member (Planning & HR)& K. Vinayak Rao, Member (Finance) alongwith other senior officers of AAI. Integrity Pledge was administered by the Chairman AAI to 60 Officers (approx.) on this occasion. The Chairman, AAI laid emphasis on importance of Vigilance in effective functioning of the organization. He called upon everyone to participate in the activities of VAW 2022 with earnestness and sincerity.

Amal Garg, CVO, AAI mentioned about the achievements of Vigilance Department during the last one year. He brought out that AAI is marching ahead with resoluteness for”Corruption Free India for a Developed Nation”. He called upon all the employees to actively participate in the movement against corruption to achieve the mandate of the Commission in letter & spirit.

During the vigilance awareness week various activities like elocution, debate, essay, quiz, drawing and slogan competition, walkathons were conducted for employees and students across all airports and establishments to sensitise employees, passengers and children regarding importance of vigilance and evils of corruption. Integrity pledge counters were setup at airports to administer integrity pledge to all stakeholders.

Our lead story on “ The West War” is another important feature which covers the ground level reality of the challenges faced by the Aviation sector. Its though time ahead and we believe it will pass soon .

There are features on Regional connectivity and MoCA revised rules on the UDAN 2.0 and how its going to transform the flying experience within India.
