Kingdom of Saudi Arabia may witness 300 million airport passengers by 2030 says CS Events

Airport Innovation Conference will discuss the massive airport expansion plans this September in Riyadh and bring together top suppliers and solutions providers to cater to airport projects.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced a massive airport expansion plan that will attract an investment of $147 billion to service the projected 300 million tourist traffic by 2030. The expansion will result in a 15% increase in tourist traffic, to increase annual air cargo volumes to 4.5 million.

The airports will be powered by renewable energy and will be Platinum LEED certified. The number of international flights will rise to 250 from 99. This significant development will position Saudi Arabia as a key player in the aviation industry. “Our main objective is to increase the number of arrivals to the kingdom, we are not after the transit market,” said a civil aviation spokesperson.

To facilitate these ambitious plans, the Airport Innovation Conference will take place on 4th September 2023 at the Radisson Hotel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia by CogentSolutions Event Management. This day-long summit will provide a platform for over 25 key industry speakers, decision-makers, and influencers to share their expertise through interactive Keynote Speeches, Panel Discussions and Case Studies. More than 200 Attendees are expected to attend this event from the primary industry ie. Civil Aviation Authorities, Ministry of Tourism, Airport Operators, Airport Planners, Air Traffic Control Teams, Airport Planners, Airport Infrastructure Management Companies, and others.

Thought-provoking discussions will focus on the role of the aviation sector in achieving Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030. The summit is all set to highlight innovations in technology for security & immigration, reshaping passenger experiences, balancing safety & sustainability, and driving investment decisions. The conference will bring together more than 200 experts from across 3 continents to discuss the future prospects of the upcoming domestic airports in Saudi Arabia.

The Airport Innovation Conference in Riyadh is a significant step towards achieving Saudi Arabia’s goal of increasing tourism and reducing dependence on an oil economy. The tourism and commerce sectors are the key economic drivers for the GCC countries, and the UAE government’s recent announcement of exponential growth in the tourism sector serves as a motivation for Saudi Arabia to expand its airport infrastructure.

Hosted by CS Event Management, this conference promises to be an insightful event for the Saudi Arabia aviation industry, shaping the future of aviation in the region. Gain exceptional knowledge on the most recent trends in airport automation and optimization, find out how airports are managing challenges, leveraging on the latest innovations, driving operational excellence, and optimizing costs.
