Etihad Airways completes one year of operation between Jaipur- Abu Dhabi

Jaipur, 7th July 2025:

Etihad Airways has marked the first anniversary of its nonstop service between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur, a key gateway in Northwest India. Since launching the route on 16 June 2024, Etihad has more than doubled frequencies—reflecting its deepening commitment to the Indian market and expanding connectivity for travelers from Rajasthan to over 100 destinations across its global network.

The service began with four weekly flights and increased to ten per week by December 2024, just six months after launch—underscoring the growing strategic importance of Jaipur in Etihad’s India network.

Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, said, “Completing one year of flying to Jaipur is an important milestone in our India growth story. The strong response from travellers, especially from Rajasthan and neighbouring regions, has reaffirmed our commitment to enhancing travel options from India. With increased frequencies, seamless connectivity, and exceptional service, we look forward to continuing this journey with our guests from Jaipur.”

Strengthening Global Connectivity
The Abu Dhabi–Jaipur route plays a vital role in connecting India to key destinations across the GCC and Middle East, Europe, North America, and Africa via Etihad’s hub at Zayed International Airport. Travellers from Jaipur benefit from smooth onward connections through the state-of-the-art airport, and a seamless travel experience.

Passengers flying to the United States enjoy the added advantage of completing immigration and customs formalities before departure through the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Preclearance facility in Abu Dhabi—the only one of its kind in the region. This allows travellers to arrive in the US as domestic passengers, ensuring a faster and more convenient entry.

Travelers can also take advantage of Etihad’s Abu Dhabi Stopover Programme, which offers up to two complimentary nights at select premium hotels—allowing them to experience the cultural richness, beautiful beaches, thrilling theme parks and vibrant nightlife of the UAE capital before continuing their journey.

The route is operated using Airbus A320 family aircraft, with Business and Economy cabins.
