Aviator gets long-term Lufthansa Group full-handling contract in Norway

Norway,17th September 2026:

Aviator Airport Alliance, full-range provider of aviation services and part of Avia Solutions Group, has signed a new long-term contract with Lufthansa Group. The company will provide the airline with full ground handling services, including de-icing, at three major airports in Norway: Bergen (BGO), Trondheim (TRD) and Tromsø (TOS).

Operations will start on a phased basis, beginning at Bergen on 1 February 2027, followed by Trondheim on 28 March 2027 and Tromsø on 1 April 2027. The agreement covers approximately 1,760 aircraft turnarounds a year across all airports.

The Norwegian contract follows a similar development in Sweden, where Aviator recently secured a four-year ground handling contract with Lufthansa Group at Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport (GOT).

“To win the contract with Lufthansa Group in Norway is a strong endorsement and a recognition of our teams and the standards we uphold across our stations. Full handling at this scale demands precision and consistency, and we are ready to deliver it from day one. We look forward to supporting the group’s airlines and passengers at our stations in Norway,” said Peter Stackeryd, Managing Director at Aviator in Norway.

As a full-range aviation service provider, Aviator is active at 15 airports throughout the Nordic region, serving major carriers including SAS, Norwegian, Icelandair, Ryanair, Wizz Air, Finnair, Air France-KLM, and Turkish Airlines. Its services span passenger and baggage handling, de-icing, cargo and freight handling, and station services. The company is part of Avia Solutions Group, the world’s largest ACMI provider with operations spanning six continents.
