Bahrain International Airshow secures 9 exhibitor contracts

Paris, France:
Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) has secured nine Ground Support Equipment (GSE) specialists as exhibitors for its 2026 event.Signed during Paris Air Show 2025, the agreements form part of a new GSE pavilion that will be featured at BIAS next November, with the aim to promote future-focused sustainable advancements across the wider aviation infrastructure. This new initiative on BIAS’ growing floorplan aligns with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s 2030 Vision for zero emissions and emphasising the use of electrical machinery in the industry.Specialising in the global supply of used and refurbished ground support equipment, exhibitors secured include Airmarrel, Mallaghan, Mulag, Shire, Sovam, TLD, Trepel, Cobus Industries and DOLL.

Organised by Bahrain’s Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Air Force, in partnership with Farnborough International, BIAS 2026 will continue its boutique format, offering high-level networking, exclusive hospitality, and a curated platform for business development across civil, military, and space sectors.

BIAS 2026 will take place 18–20 November 2026, at Sakhir Airbase, Bahrain. Exhibitors and delegates interested in participating in BIAS 2026 are encouraged to secure their space early, as demand is expected to surpass previous editions.

The current edition of Aviation World has covered many areas of Aerospace & Defence based on the latest development in the sector. The front cover highlights three different images, first for the Union Civil Aviation Minister ….. who is leading from the front to steer Indian Civil Aviation sector to witness one of the most interesting phases. He is also facing most tumultuous timing due to the ongoing financial stress in the Aviation sector due to ATF rising cost and long airspace restrictions resulting in mounting losses for Indian carriers. Despite of all the ground level challenges,the minister is addressing new things on regular basis which keeps the sector motivated. We have featured many such developmental works in this edition done under his guidance which will be interesting to read.

Our lead story on “ The West War” is another important feature which covers the ground level reality of the challenges faced by the Aviation sector. Its though time ahead and we believe it will pass soon .

There are features on Regional connectivity and MoCA revised rules on the UDAN 2.0 and how its going to transform the flying experience within India.
