Bengaluru, 21 October 2026:
British Airways has announced that it will continue to operate twice-daily flights between Bengaluru and London Heathrow in summer 2027, offering customers 14 services a week.
Introduced in June 2026, British Airways’ second daily Bengaluru service has continued through the winter and will now extend into summer 2027, adding more than 78,000 seats between the two cities next summer.
The additional service will operate daily from 28 March until 30 October 2027*, alongside the airline’s existing daily service, with both flights operated by its Boeing 787 aircraft.
Neil Chernoff, British Airways’ Chief Planning and Strategy Officer, said: “Bengaluru is an important market for British Airways, and we are pleased to continue offering customers twice-daily flights to London Heathrow next summer reinforcing our commitment to the city and the wider Indian market.
“The additional service was introduced earlier this year, and continuing it into summer 2027 will give customers greater choice and flexibility when travelling to London, as well as connecting onwards to destinations across North America and Canada.”
The route supports customers travelling for business, leisure and to visit loved ones, as well as providing onward connections via London Heathrow to destinations including San Francisco, where British Airways will also increase frequencies to 21 flights per week next summer.
