DIAL & Adone Events to launch Air Expo India in Nov 2023 in Delhi

New Delhi / December 15, 2022: Air Expo India, a brand new general and business aviation exhibition, will be hosted by Delhi International Airport (a GMR Airports Limited company) in November 2023 at Indira Gandhi International Airport.The show was officially launched in New Delhi on December 14th when DIAL and Adone Events signed a protocol agreement to organize the show. Air Expo India will take place over a three-day period. It will welcome exhibitors and delegates from Asia and the Middle East, representing local and international aerospace companies, owners, operators, suppliers, and media. An industry first, the show will house one of the biggest static displays of eVTOL and electric aircraft in support of India’s intent to become a manufacturing center for these aircraft, used primarily by the U.S. and Canadian military.Air Expo India is targeting a mix of general and business aviation exhibitors who will come together on a static area totalling 60,000 sqm. The space will accommodate more than 100 aircraft ranging in size from single and twin-engine models to turboprops and private jets.   The show format will reflect the approach taken at Abu Dhabi Air Expo, France Air Expo and African Air Expo, also organised by Adone Events, which offers exhibits located next to the runway enabling manufacturers to present their whole range of aircraft.“I am honoured that DIAL has shown its confidence in Adone Events by agreeing to collaborate with us on this exciting new venture. Our experience, knowledge and network of aviation contacts are such that we can already confirm that more than 200 aviation companies have expressed strong interest in participating. Bahrain International Airshow 2022 connects the Gulf with the global aerospace industry

Bahrain, 15th Nov 2022: Thousands of aerospace and defence professionals from over 30 countries around the world connected at the Bahrain International Airshow (BIAS) 2022 for three days of partnership building, collaboration and thought leadership. Officially opened by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, on behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Bahrain International Airshow, is organised by the Bahrain Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications and the Royal Bahraini Airforce in association with Farnborough International. The three-day event, which took place 9-11 November 2022, saw 186 participating companies across the display, exhibition hall and chalets and 200 civilian and military delegations taking part. The airshow followed on from Manama Air Power Symposium 2022, which brought together a high-caliber audience of over 300 air force commanders and operators, policymakers, and industry leaders from over 25 countries for the most important regional air power conference in 2022. New deals and partnerships worth over USD 1.8 billion were announced at the show including the purchase of 30 of the latest-generation, single-aisle aircraft powered by Pratt & Whitney GTF engines by Royal Jordanian Airlines (“Royal Jordanian”), a strategic partnership between MAE Aircraft Management and Asia Cargo Network Singapore and Texel Air Bahrain and Sierra Nevada Corporation’s (SNC) new alliance. Two dedicated conference theatres offered a thought exchange platform, where senior aerospace executives from the Gulf region and international companies collaborated to bring issues of mutual interest to the fore. The programme included panels and keynotes on four key themes: Airports and Airlines, Cargo and Logistics, Women in Aerospace and Space. Each afternoon saw the skies above Sakhir Air Base filled with the world’s most renowned air display teams and aircraft, with showcases of the Gulf Air 787, RBAF, JF-17, Fursan Al Emarat, UAE Mirage 2000, RSAF Typhoon, USAF F-16 demo team, Global Stars, Red Arrows, DHL B767-300 Flypast, UAE F16, Saudi Hawks and P-8 flypast. On the closing of BIAS 2022, His Excellency the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications, Mohamed bin Thamer AlKaabi, said: “The sixth edition of the event has built on the Show’s previous successes and strengthened BIAS’s position as a unique platform for business development, engagement and the showcasing of the latest technological innovations in the aerospace industry. It continues to generate new opportunities in the aviation sector and the commercial and military aircraft markets. BIAS provides the right environment for deal-making and cooperation agreements. “The event has witnessed fruitful visits and meetings, and we are looking forward to seeing the outcomes of the deals concluded by the firms during the airshow. We would also like to thank the sponsors, supporters, and all participants from delegations and companies for their trust in the airshow, and we look forward to seeing them again at the next Bahrain International Airshow.” The Bahrain International Airshow will return 13-15 November 2024. Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022 chooses Etihad Airways as Official Airline Sponsor

25th October 2022,Abu Dhabi: Etihad Airways has been named the official Airline Sponsor of Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2022. The national carrier for Abu Dhabi will be the exclusive sponsor of the anticipated 18,000 attendee event. The airline will also support one of the key panel discussions: Making Aviation Green: Sustainability in the Aviation Ecosystem. The Abu Dhabi Air Expo supports development of Abu Dhabi as an aviation hub for general, business and commercial aviation. The conference will bring together insight and knowledge from local and international stakeholders to deliver engaging content, inspire new thinking and encourage aerospace development by attracting new players to the region. “As the ‘Environmental Airline of the Year’ we are proud to add our voice to the sustainability panel and this critical discussion around the decarbonisation of the aviation industry. Aero MRO India A&D to be held on 3rd-4th Nov 2022 in New Delhi

Delhi, 13th Sept 2022: MRO Association of India is organising its annual event,Aero MRO India A&D 2022 on 3rd-4th Nov in New Delhi. The two day conference and Exhibition also marks the completion of 10th anniversary of MRO Association of India. Pulak Sen, Founder & Secretary General of MRO Association of India said,” This year’s theme for Aero MRO India A&D 2022 is ‘India: An MRO Hub-Unlimited Opportunities’. In the past two years, the Government of India under its Aatma Nirbhar Bharat mission has brought in a slew of reforms in the area of MRO which have opened up several opportunities for MRO players and OEMs from overseas. India is positioning itself strategically to attract investment from OEMs and large MRO service providers across the globe.” Pulak Sen further added, ” Aero MRO India 2022 will be bigger and better in terms of conference topics and exhibition. Rosoboronexport to showcase current Russian products for Caspian countries at ADEX 2022

September 5, 2022,Azerbaijan: Rosoboronexport JSC (part of Rostec State Corporation) is the organizer of Russia’s joint exhibit at the ADEX 2022 Azerbaijan International Defense Industry Exhibition, which will be held on September 6-8 at the Baku Expo Center, Azerbaijan. “Rosoboronexport is a traditional exhibitor at ADEX. In Baku, we are showing military products from leading Russian manufacturers for the countries of the Caspian region, with which we have long-term good-neighborly relations. In 2022, we will demonstrate about 500 pieces of equipment for all services and branches of the armed forces, special and police units, as well as a wide range of civilian products,” said Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport. “We expect a lot of attention to small arms, counter-terrorism systems and cybersecurity projects promoted by Rosoboronexport.” At ADEX, Rosoboronexport will showcase state-of-the-art military products: the Il-76MD-90A(E) military transport aircraft, Su-35 multi-role supermaneuverable fighter, Ka-52(E) scout/attack helicopter, Mi-35M transport/attack helicopter, Terminator BMPT tank support fighting vehicle, upgraded Msta-S self-propelled howitzer with a standard 155 mm NATO gun, Buk-M2E SAM system and the Khrizantema-S self-propelled ATGM system. Rosoboronexport’s exhibit will include the Tigr special wheeled armored vehicle, a MRAP wheeled armored vehicle, as well border and critical asset surveillance equipment, including autonomous mobile posts and technical and video TV surveillance systems. In total, more than 20 defense companies take part in the Russian exhibit at ADEX 2022, six of which will show their developments at their own stands. “The exhibit and the level of the Russian delegation at ADEX 2022 will allow Rosoboronexport to discuss with partners any current and future projects relevant to the region, as well as formats of interaction in a new global market environment. We will talk about our proposals within the framework of industrial partnership, opportunities for joint development and production of weapons and military equipment, modernization of previously delivered products, personnel training,” Alexander Mikheev said.

Embraer Showcases the C-390 Millennium at the Air Power in Austria

Zeltweg, Austria, August 29, 2022: Embraer will showcase the C-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft for the first time at the Austrian airshow, the Air Power, to be held on September 2 and 3 in Zeltweg, Austria. During the event, Embraer will also highlight its portfolio of products and innovative solutions for the defense and security markets, which are present in more than 60 countries. “We are glad to have this opportunity to showcase the C-390 at this renowned Air Show and share the aircraft capabilities with the attendees of the event,” said Jackson Schneider, President & CEO, Embraer Defense & Security. “The entrance of the C-390 Millennium into the market comes at a crucial moment where air forces and governments are looking to incorporate new generation aircraft in their airlift fleets. We are seeing the C-390 operating with incredible availability rates, which is the result of a modern design for reliability, maintainability, and a selection of the best suppliers worldwide.” The C-390 Millennium and its air-to-air refueling configuration, the KC-390, are the new generation of multi-role military transport aircraft delivering unrivaled mobility and cargo capacity, rapid re-configuration, high availability, improved comfort, and flight safety, as well as optimal management of reduced operational costs through its life cycle, all in a single platform. Since the first delivery to the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), the KC-390 Millennium has proven its capability, reliability, and performance. FAB’s current fleet of KC-390s stands at five units and have exceeded 5,000 flight hours in operation with a mission completion rate of 97%, demonstrating outstanding availability and productivity in its category. The Portuguese Air Force and the Hungarian Defence Forces will start the operation of their KC-390s in 2023 and 2024, respectively. Both the Portuguese and Hungarian fleets will be capable of performing Air-Air Refueling and will be fully NATO compatible, not only in terms of hardware but also in terms of avionics and communications. The Hungarian Defence Force fleet will be the first in the world to feature an Intensive Care Unit configuration, an essential feature for performing humanitarian missions. Most recently, in June, the Netherlands Ministry of Defence announced the selection of a fleet of five C-390 Millennium aircraft, highlighting the performance and operational output of the aircraft, to succeed their current fleet of C-130 Hercules.

New Delhi, 20th July 2022: A diplomatic dinner evening was hosted by Shri. Anuj Kumar Agarwal Trade Commissioner East African Community (EAC), India Africa Trade Council to welcome the delegation of Ethiopia to India. The occasion was graced by the presence of Dr. Tizita Mulugeta Ambassador of Ethiopia to India , Melaku Alebel, Ministry of Trade and Industry of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, Dr. Asif Iqbal, President Indian Economic Trade Organisation were also present on the occasion. The event took place at Taj Mansingh in New Delhi. Shri Anuj Agarwal said “Relations between India and Ethiopia have been marked by an exchange of visits between the two countries at the political and official levels as well as a growing economic partnership bolstered by people-to-people exchanges through cultural exchange programmes, education and training to provide a firm foundation to the relationship. The focus will be on to deepen and diversify the relationship by identifying new synergetic areas for cooperation and collaboration.” India and Ethiopia also have long-standing economic and commercial relations, which are centuries old and can be traced back over 2000 years of recorded history. During the Axumite Kingdom, Indian traders had links with the ancient port of Adulis in the eastern part of Ethiopia and traded silk and spices for gold and ivory.

Turkısh Aerospace to Attend Farnborough Aırshow

FAS 22,London, 16th July 2022: Turkish Aerospace has confirmed its participation at Farnborough Airshow from 18th-22nd July 2022. In recent years, Turkish Aerospace superbly achieved export agreements with many countries for its products. Turkish Aerospace will deliver three Anka medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and two ground control stations to Kazakhstan . Kazakhstan has become the first foreign production partner for the Anka UAV from Turkish Aerospace. Turkish Aerospace and The Philippine government signed a contract to supply six ATAK helicopters. Turkish Aerospace has delivered two T129 ATAK helicopters to the Philippine Air Force.In addition, Turkish Aerospace and Tunisia signed a contract to buy three Anka-S Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV).The deal also includes three ground control stations. Today, with 13 thousand engineers and technician colleagues, Turkish Aerospace is aiming to become a part of one of the 10 largest aviation companies in the world.
