ICAD Awarded The Master System Integration Consultancy Project For Noida International Airport

June 23, 2022 New Delhi:

Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) has selected ICAD as the Master System Integrator for Noida International Airport (NIA). ICAD has successfully completed over 350 large scale technology projects in the Middle East & Africa.

YIAPL CEO Christoph Schnellmann said,“We are delighted to partner with ICAD for Master System Integration Consultancy (MSI) at Noida International Airport. With the award of this MSI contract, Noida International Airport will witness a rapid increase in the pace to deliver an airport infrastructure with a capacity of 1.2 crore passengers annually, by 2024.”

ICAD Group CEO Ghassan Sayegh said, “It is an honour for us to be entrusted with the MSI Consultancy for the Noida International Airport. ICAD will work closely with YIAPL to deliver India’s most advanced and environment friendly airport on time. We are happy to state that this project is the 45th Airport Project that ICAD has undertaken globally. India is an emerging market & we have always wanted to set foot in India and this award provides us with this unique opportunity. ICAD already has successful operations in the Middle East, USA, UK & Europe. Our Indian operations opens up our window to the East where we wish to expand further on in due course.”

The front cover highlights three different images, first for the Union Civil Aviation Minister ….. who is leading from the front to steer Indian Civil Aviation sector to witness one of the most interesting phases. He is also facing most tumultuous timing due to the ongoing financial stress in the Aviation sector due to ATF rising cost and long airspace restrictions resulting in mounting losses for Indian carriers. Despite of all the ground level challenges,the minister is addressing new things on regular basis which keeps the sector motivated. We have featured many such developmental works in this edition done under his guidance which will be interesting to read.

Our lead story on “ The West War” is another important feature which covers the ground level reality of the challenges faced by the Aviation sector. Its though time ahead and we believe it will pass soon .
