Malaysia Airlines extends FHS contract for A330ceo fleet

Singapore, 23 September 2026:

Malaysia Airlines has confirmed an extension of Airbus’ industry-leading Flight Hour Services programme for its A330ceo fleet. The announcement was made at a signing ceremony between Airbus and Malaysia Airlines at the MRO Asia-Pacific event in Singapore.

The long-term power-by-the-hour contract covers integrated component services, including on-site stock, pool access, repair services and component reliability engineering. The airline will also benefit from Airbus’ engineering expertise and FHS regional representatives to support the daily maintenance activities.

The agreement solidifies Airbus FHS as the primary maintenance support for Malaysia Airlines’ A330ceos since 2017, and the A330neos which began in 2024.

Aida Salfaraz Ahmad Fadzil, Chief Operating Officer of Malaysia Airlines said: “The extension of this agreement reflects the value that the Airbus Flight Hour Services programme continues to bring to our operations. Since 2017, Airbus has supported the performance and reliability of our A330 fleet through its component services and technical expertise. As we continue to focus on operational efficiency and service excellence, this programme remains an important part of our support framework, and we look forward to continuing our collaboration with Airbus.”

“This A330ceo contract extension is a strong testament to the trust Malaysia Airlines places in the Airbus Flight Hour Services programme,” said Anand Stanley, President Airbus in Asia-Pacific. “We have been working closely with Malaysia Airlines for almost a decade to enhance our services activities, and look forward to continuing to support the performance and reliability of its A330 fleet.”

Airbus FHS provides flexible, comprehensive maintenance solutions designed to empower airlines to maximise fleet performance while minimising total operational costs. By harnessing Airbus’ global expertise, cutting-edge technologies, and data-driven insights, the service ensures optimised efficiency and reliability for airline operations.
