“India’s aviation sector has witnessed a phenomenal growth of over 40% in the last ten years, a testament to the transformative vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. The UDAN Scheme has revolutionized regional connectivity—awarding more than 1,300 routes and operationalizing 517—connecting even the remotest corners of the country through common skies. Due to the visionary leadership of Hon. Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Shri Devendra Fadnavis, Maharashtra stands as an example for promoting the best of aviation infrastructure for the growth of aviation industry, proudly hosting the biggest FTO in the country operated by Air India in Amravati. This surge in connectivity is instrumental in empowering communities, boosting tourism, and driving inclusive economic growth. As we continue to build a future-ready aviation ecosystem, we are proud to support platforms like IPTS 2025 that bring together thought leaders and innovators to share insights and shape the next chapter of India’s aviation story.” said Smt. Swati Pandey, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, Maharashtra Airport Development Company Ltd.

The revamped UDAN scheme is set to enhance air travel access in underserved regions, further fuelling growth. Under the new version of the scheme, 120 new destinations will be added, connecting 4 crore passengers over the next 10 years. India’s air passenger traffic rose 11% Y-O-Y to 1.46crore in January, highlighting the urgent need for advanced airport infrastructure and efficient passenger management solutions.

Suresh Khadakbhavi, CEO, Digi Yatra Foundation says, “India’s airport landscape is undergoing a remarkable transformation driven by innovation, enhanced connectivity, and sustained policy focus. In just a decade, the number of operational airports has more than doubled, from 74 to nearly 160, underscoring the scale of opportunity. With a 6% rise in domestic traffic in 2024, India now ranks just behind China in global air travel growth. At Digi Yatra, we are proud to be part of this journey and look forward to showcasing our vision at the Inter Passenger Terminal Show 2025. As we embrace technology and collaboration, the future of India’s aviation sector holds immense promise for sustainable, seamless, and smart travel experiences.”

As India accelerates toward becoming a global aviation powerhouse, the Inter Passenger Terminal Show 2025 is poised to offer a key platform—uniting innovation, infrastructure, and industry insight on a single stage. With strategic partnerships, future-ready technologies, and a vision aligned with national growth ambitions, IPTS 2025 will redefine passenger experience and shape the next chapter of India’s aviation story.
