Gurugram, May 21, 2021:
SpiceHealth, a healthcare company of SpiceJet has launched its first mobile testing laboratory in Aurangabad for conducting RT-PCR tests to check Covid-19 disease.
SpiceHealth has conducted more than 2.5 million RT-PCR tests since its launch in November 2020. All SpiceHealth laboratories are accredited by National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories and Indian Council of Medical Research and each lab can conduct 3,000 tests per day.
Avani Singh, CEO, SpiceHealth said, “Aurangabad is the third city in Maharashtra after Mumbai and Nagpur where SpiceHealth has set up its RT-PCR mobile testing laboratory. We will soon have one in Nashik too. In addition to the quick deployment of vaccines, it remains equally imperative that we continue large-scale testing to quickly identify, isolate and treat those infected and beat the second wave of the pandemic. SpiceHealth is working relentlessly to expand its reach into the most affected areas of the country and help India fight the disease as quickly as possible.”
Aurangabad, like the rest of the country, has been battling with the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic. With new additions each day, the total caseload in the city has surged past 1.38 lakh.
SpiceHealth has been actively involved in the country’s fight against Covid-19 and has been working closely with multiple state governments and hospitals.
