TCI announces strong growth in Q3 FY2026 financial results

Gurugram, February 04, 2026: Transport Corporation of India Ltd. (TCI), India’s leading integrated multimodal logistics and supply chain solutions provider, today announced its financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2025. Financial Highlights for Q3/FY2026: – Revenue: TCI reported a consolidated revenue of ₹12609 Mn, marking a growth of 9.3% compared to ₹11539 Mn in the same period last year. – EBITDA: The Company’s Earnings before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortization (EBITDA) stood at ₹1616 Mn, a 9.3% increase from ₹1478 Mn in Q3/FY2025. – Profit after Tax (PAT): PAT rose by 13.4% to ₹1158 Mn, compared to ₹1021 Mn in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. Consolidated Standalone Commenting on the Q3FY2026 performance, Mr. Vineet Agarwal, MD – TCI, said,” Quarter 3 reflected the inherent seasonality of the logistics business, supported by festive-led demand which led to positive traction across automotive, FMCG and MSME-driven integrated logistics solutions. While the initial phase of GST 2.0 led to short-term disruption, the subsequent clarity resulted in a sharp pickup in movements, particularly in finished goods and inventory rebalancing. Automotive, along with consumer durables, pharmaceuticals and e-commerce, emerged as key growth drivers during the quarter, supported by record road and rail volumes and improved warehousing utilisation. Our ability to navigate this volatility underscores the resilience of TCI’s diversified operating model, dense branch network and strong execution capabilities, enabling us to respond swiftly to demand fluctuations while maintaining margin discipline. We remain mindful that a portion of the quarter’s momentum was event-led and inventory-driven, with volumes expected to normalise post the festive period. We continued to advance our strategic priorities by scaling up rail, coastal and network-led logistics solutions, alongside expanding warehousing and value-added offerings. Enhancing asset productivity, cost efficiency and sustainability remains central to our execution strategy. The steady evolution of our portfolio toward end-to-end logistics positions us well to serve increasingly complex supply chains, including quick commerce, omni-channel retail and D2C brands, which demand speed, scalability and reliability.

The Future of Low Altitude Airspace: From Congestion to Connectivity

By Sudip Sharma,Director, Safe Fly Aviation The skies above our cities are quietly changing — and faster than most people realise. What was once the domain of helicopters and the occasional news or medical flight is now being joined by delivery drones, surveillance platforms and a new generation of electric air taxis known as eVTOLs (electric vertical take-off and landing aircraft). Below 3,000 feet, urban airspace is becoming one of the most active and complex transportation environments in the world. This transformation brings enormous opportunity. Urban air mobility promises quicker journeys, reduced pressure on congested roads, and cleaner, quieter aircraft. But it also presents a serious challenge: how do thousands of aircraft safely share the same narrow band of sky over busy cities? Without smart management, this airspace could become as crowded as the roads below — undermining safety, reliability and public confidence. That is why the future of urban aviation depends not just on new aircraft, but on new ways of managing the sky. WHY TRADITIONAL AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL ISN’T ENOUGH Conventional air traffic control was designed for large aircraft flying at high altitudes between major airports. It works exceptionally well for commercial jets, but it was never built to handle thousands of low-level flights operating autonomously, on demand, and often within dense urban environments. To solve this, aviation authorities and technology providers are building a new digital layer of airspace management called Unmanned Traffic Management, or UTM. UTM platforms act like an intelligent traffic system for the sky. They coordinate aircraft in real time, assign flight corridors, automatically detect conflicts, and reroute traffic when weather, emergencies or congestion arise. Unlike traditional ATC, much of this process is automated, allowing vast numbers of drones, helicopters, and eVTOLs to operate safely simultaneously. A GLOBAL SHIFT IS ALREADY UNDERWAY This is no longer theoretical. Regulators around the world are actively rolling out frameworks to integrate UTM with existing air traffic systems. In the United States, the FAA is developing nationwide rules for remote identification, digital flight authorisation and drone-to-ATC coordination. In Europe, EASA is implementing the U-Space framework, which allows drones and air taxis to fly safely even near major airports and busy cities. Live trials in places such as Los Angeles, Paris, Singapore and Dubai have already demonstrated mixed operations — where cargo drones, helicopters and passenger air taxis operate side-by-side using AI-driven flight planning, weather integration and automated safety systems. The goal is simple: increase airspace capacity without increasing risk. WHAT THIS MEANS FOR SAFE FLY AVIATION For an operator like Safe Fly Aviation – with expertise spanning private jet charter, helicopter services and advanced air mobility — this evolution is not just important, it is essential. Our clients depend on speed, reliability and safety. As urban airspace becomes more dynamic, we are actively preparing for a future in which helicopters, drones, and eVTOL aircraft operate together seamlessly. Smarter airspace means fewer delays, better routing, lower emissions and more predictable operations — whether it is a VIP helicopter transfer today or an electric air taxi tomorrow. FROM CONGESTION TO CONNECTIVITY The future of low-altitude airspace is not about competition between aircraft types. It is about coexistence. With the right technology, regulations, and collaboration among regulators, operators, and innovators, our skies can become an extension of our transport networks — connecting people, businesses, and cities faster and more sustainably than ever before. At Safe Fly Aviation, we are committed to being part of that future, ensuring that every flight — whether piloted, autonomous or electric — is guided by the same principles that have always defined aviation excellence: safety, precision and trust. The sky is no longer the limit. It is the next frontier of connected mobility. (Views expressed are personal. Banner image is used for representation purpose only)

Exclusive Interview: Nimrod Meuleman, VP, Business Aviation and Helicopter Training in EMEAA, CAE

“India is an amazing market and has always been a key pillar for our growth in the region.” The growth of the business aviation sector has also increased the demand for training mainly pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers and cabin crews. CAE has established itself at the forefront, as a leader in training all of these aviation professionals, with its 240 sites and training locations in 40 countries around the world. With India as an emerging market for business aviation and many new intakes of large- to mid-size private jets, CAE firmly believes that as India continues to grow and develop, there will be more opportunities to be the training partner of choice for more professionals and operators. In an exclusive interview with Aviation World, Nimrod Meuleman, VP for Business Aviation and Helicopter Training in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia, CAE shares his vision for India. Excerpts… Q: How does CAE support Business Aviation’s training needs? A: The market for CAE, anything from Middle East all the way to Southeast Asia, is very critical for our business aviation training portfolio. We’ve been serving the Asia-Pacific market in business aviation for over 22 years. Our focus has been supporting our customers in India, Southeast Asia, China and in Australia. We have three training centers in the U.A.E. that offer training on a wide variety of business aircraft, which makes us well-positioned to support the regional growth of the aviation industry. These three training centers alone offer complete pilot training on aircraft from Boeing, Bombardier, Beechcraft, Dassault, Embraer, Gulfstream, and Hawker covering many of the models popular in India. We also have a Gulfstream G650 simulator at our Singapore training centre, which supports the operators in the entire region. Our other business aviation training centers located in Vienna, in Burgess Hill in the UK, in Morristown, New Jersey, in Las Vegas, in Dallas, in Montreal, and in Orlando also receive pilots from India and Asia-Pacific to train on specific models. CAE is also the global training leader for commercial aviation We have three joint venture training centres in India with IndiGo, called CAE Simulation Training Private Limited (CSTPL). One is in Delhi-NCR, another is in Bengaluru, and we recently announced a new training centre in Mumbai. We offer training on various aircraft types, such as Airbus, Boeing and ATR aircraft models, that meet the requirements for our customer base and state DGCA training requirements. This positions us well to serve and support the growing demand that’s emerging from Southeast Asia. The UAE seems to be a large BA training hub. Q: On which aircraft type does CAE provide training there? A: At our two training centers in Dubai and our training centre in Abu Dhabi, we provide training on the following aircraft series: :Boeing Business Jet 737-800 :Bombardier Challenger 604 & 605 :Global 5500,6000, 6500,7500, soon the 8000 and the Global Express. :Gulfstream G450,G550 and G650 :Dassault Falcon 900 EX EASy II, 2000 EX-EASy II and 7XEASy II :Embraer 145, Legacy :Hawker Beechcraft 800, 800XP, 750, 850XP, 900 XP., King Air 350 Fusion, King Air 350 Pro Line 21 :Our training centers in Europe and the UK also offer training on more aircraft types. :In Burgess Hill, UK, we have Dassault Falcon 6X and 8x full-flight simulators (FFS), as well as an Embraer Phenom 300. :At CAE Vienna, we have Phenom 100 and 300 FFSs, as well as a Bombardier Challenger 3500 and a Pilatus PC-24, which will be launched in the second half of 2026. Q: Any plans to expand into the FTO segment for business aviation in any of the regions? A: In business aviation, operators often look for pilots with experience, as they are hiring people to fly their families and their business colleagues. This is especially true when it comes to larger cabin jets. Many operators or owners look for the cream of the crop of pilots, so there are few opportunities for new pilots right out of flight school to get hired. That said, there are opportunities on smaller business jets such as Cessna Citation Jets 2 and 3, the Embraer Phenom series, Beechcraft King Air 350s etc. and these aircraft are flying around in this part of the world. Q: Which region across the globe has promising growth? A: We see a lot of growth in the Middle East now. There is also a period of growth in India. Though the country’s business aviation sector has gone through ups and downs, I would say right now it is really on the up side. There are new large cabin business jets coming in as we see high-net-worth individuals are now interested in aircraft. There are also many financial technology firms and startups younger billionaires – looking at investing in business jets. In Southeast Asia and the Pacific region, the markets that are really growing are Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Australia. At the moment, China is stabilising but we do see some signs of optimism coming in the next couple of years. Q: How do you see the growth pattern of the sector in coming years? A: I think growth can only happen if we have enough aviation professionals. We did a recent market study, which came out mid-2025, in which we forecasted over the next 10 years, the world will need about 1.5 million civil aviation professionals. I’m talking about pilots, air traffic controllers, cabin crew, and aircraft maintenance technicians. In the Asia-Pacific region, we calculate there will be a requirement for about 3,000 pilots and around 4,000 aircraft mechanics in business aviation alone over the next 10 years. In addition to pilot training, CAE also trains aircraft maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers and commercial cabin crew. These professionals are highly important as no aircraft can fly without them – and the industry needs to work on attracting and retaining them. This workforce shortage – whether we’re talking about pilots, aircraft maintenance technicians, air traffic controllers, or cabin crew – affects the entire

Air India Adds 30 Boeing Aircraft to its Firm Orders

Hyderabaad, 29 January 2026: At the Wings India 2026, Air India announced placing an order to purchase 30 additional Boeing aircraft, comprising 20 737-8 and 10 737-10. These 30 single-aisle aircraft are in addition to the firm orders for 220 aircraft that Air India had placed with Boeing in 2023, taking the total number of aircraft orders placed with Boeing to 250. With the latest orders, Air India has a total of 198 new aircraft incoming from Boeing. The airline has, so far, received 52 aircraft from the original 220 ordered in 2023, including 51 737-8 in service with Air India’s subsidiary value carrier, Air India Express, and one brand-new 787-9 that enters commercial service between Mumbai and Frankfurt from 1 February 2026. Campbell Wilson, Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Air India, said: “This additional order for 30 Boeing 737 aircraft is part of our broader fleet strategy to position Air India firmly for the future, as a world-class global carrier that India deserves and the world expects. Building on our 2023 orders and subsequent additions, this order supports steady deliveries and fleet upgrades planned over the next few years. “Air India’s order for more 737 MAX jets underscores the strong performance of their existing 737-8 fleet as they continue to expand connectivity across India and the South Asia region,” said Paul Righi, Boeing Vice President of Commercial Sales and Marketing, Eurasia, India and South Asia. “We value Air India’s confidence in the 737-10 and 737-8 to provide the capacity and versatility they need as a cornerstone of their single-aisle growth strategy.” Powered by CFM LEAP-1B engines, the Boeing 737 delivers exceptional fuel-efficiency, passenger comfort, and operational reliability for robust single-aisle aircraft operations. Since its privatisation in January 2022, the Air India group has added nearly 170 aircraft to its fleet through a combination of new deliveries, strategic leases, merger of erstwhile Vistara into Air India, and the reactivation of long-grounded aircraft, thus marking significant progress in capacity expansion and fleet modernisation.
